There's also a brand new boathouse with a sun deck and a sitting room, almost an acre of lawn, and a wrap around patio with views of the lake. We use the slips for our pontoon boat and jet skis and, unfortunately, we cannot rent them or allow guests to use them for liability reasons. But there is plenty of room for you to tie up your boat and/or jet skis at the boat house.

Our house sits on ten acres out in the beautiful East Texas Piney Woods. Here you can enjoy solitude, wildlife, pine trees, forest bathing, tree hugging, a beautiful view, stargazing, and a comfortable and relaxing home. The house has a master bedroom and master bathroom, two other bedrooms, and one other bathroom. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer and a game room with a shelf full of games and books. For business travelers, there are office supplies, a land-line for conference calls, and a reliable DSL WiFi connection (10 Mbps download speed). The kitchen is fully equipped, including refrigerator, electric stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, cooking pots and utensils, and dishware. Bath towels and bed linens are supplied. There is central air conditioning and heating, a 48-inch flat-screen TV, and local and long-distance phone service. We do not have cable TV but there is an antenna that picks up local stations and an Apple TV that is available for your own subscription to Netflix, etc. To help reduce the spread of COVID-19, we’ve implemented cleaning guidelines based on recommendations from the CDC including a minimum of 48 hours in between guests.

"Tree House Rustic Cabin is glamping at its best; a screened 16 x 20 deck, fully stocked kitchen, small dorm fridge, microwave, air conditioner (run by generator), bathroom, 2 full-size futons & ample room for additional cots, sleeping bags, blow-up mattresses. It is a camping cabin with a camp stove, fire pit, charcoal grill, limited electricity, a generator for air conditioning, microwave, etc; limited running water; showers available in the bath house close to cabin; a golf cart is for rent to roam around to 3 meditation decks for a fantastic view from atop Sugar Mountain; no TV, no WiFi; however, there is good cell phone reception. It is a rather bumpy climb on a mountain road up to the cabin. A pickup truck or SUV is best for getting up there; however, if you are in a car that may be a little close to the ground, no worries. We can take you up in our truck or Jeep and will provide transportation up and down to your car and to the bath house. We have a golf cart for rent ($35/day including gas). Other than that, this is a rustic cabin. We call it "glamping", camping with benefits.

Henderson, TX is 30 minutes away. We are 35 minutes from the oldest town in Texas, Nacogdoches. We are 60 minutes from Tyler, TX Many people stay with us to hunt for deer and wild hogs on our land. We have a nearby creek for fishing. We have no frills accommodations which are comfortable for your visit!

Glamping in the piney woods of east Texas with great waterfront views in this beautiful classic Airstream! This farmhouse modern Airstream has a queen sized bed, full bathroom, tv, living space with seating, and a kitchenette. There is a front porch deck to unwind on and soak in the sunsets along with a fire pit and outdoor dining area. More Airstreams will be coming soon to make it an Airstream community stay!
